Department of Accounting and Finance Management
The Accounting and Finance Management Undergraduate Program, which started its education and training activities under the Faculty of Business and Management Sciences with the 2020-2021 Academic Year, continues its education and training activities under the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences with the decision numbered 3518 published in the official gazette dated 05.02.2021.
The Accounting and Finance Management Undergraduate Program is a four-year program that trains managerial candidates who can work in the public and private sectors.
Students complete their education by taking courses mainly in the fields of Accounting and Finance, in addition to various service courses such as foreign language, computer, mathematics, statistics, throughout their four-year education. The content of the courses given by expert academicians in the field has been determined to help students gain both theoretical and applied accounting and finance knowledge.
The Accounting and Finance Management Undergraduate Program; It aims to train qualified students who can successfully carry out accounting and finance activities, adopt continuous learning as a principle, produce rational solutions, are open to innovation and development, meet the needs of the sector, have gained international professional qualifications and thus contribute to the country's economy and employment at a macro level.
Program Educational Objectives
The educational objectives of the Accounting and Finance Management Undergraduate Program have been determined as follows:

A3: Our graduates will have the ability to participate in tasks related to accounting and finance activities and take responsibility.

A5: Our graduates will have superior communication skills and will have knowledge about the necessary technologies.
Employment Areas of Graduates
Students who graduate from the Accounting and Finance Management Undergraduate Program can be employed as managers and assistant managers in the accounting, finance, auditing departments of businesses, national and international organizations, and the banking and insurance sector. Graduates; provided that they pass the professional qualification exams, they can become Certified Public Accountants and then Certified Public Accountants provided that they meet the necessary conditions. In addition, students will have the opportunity to pursue an academic career by completing their master's and doctoral degrees after graduation. Graduates who gain the entrepreneurial spirit and confidence throughout their education can enter business life as entrepreneurs. If graduates receive sufficient points from the Public Personnel Selection Exam, they can be employed in public institutions and organizations as accounting and finance coordinator, financial expert, financial reporting expert, budget and financial planning expert, internal auditor, independent auditor, tax consultant, financial analyst, portfolio manager, inspection board member, account expert, income controller, tax audit officer, etc.
